Description
Replacement thrust block /thrust plate for the Torsen differential found in OEM Ford Ranger 8.8″ axle applications with 31-spline. This block fits the Torsen unit found in the Ranger FX4 Level-2, including 2002 FX4, (Ford part number 3L5W-4026-AA, serial number beginning with 9701, 9702 or 9703, also having orange or white stripe on body) and Ranger replacement unit 975420-9703A.
This also fits current design of aftermarket Type-2 differential for the 31-spline Ford 8.8″ axle (current Ford Racing part number M-4204-T31 & Torsen part number 409200-0204GB). Direct replacement for original block, includes retainer pin. Does NOT fit any 28-spline differential or any T-2R product. Does NOT fit part number 409200-0204G or -0204GC.
