Description
Split (2-piece) thrust block /thrust plate for the Torsen differential found in recent Ford 8.8″ axle applications. Kit includes two half-thickness blocks, which allows installation of ring & pinion gear ratios numerically higher than 4.10:1 by inserting one block half at a time. Can also be used to replace missing OEM block.
This block fits the Torsen unit in the Mustang Boss 302 and GT500 models (Ford part number CR3W-4026-AB, Ford Racing part number M-4204-MB, Torsen part number 409000-2170). This also fits current design of aftermarket T-2R differentials for the 8.8 (Ford Racing part number M-4204-T31H & Torsen part numbers 409200-0204GC & 975420-0200AF). Will not fit 28-spline models, this for 31-spline designs only. Will not fit Ranger replacement differential 975420-9703A, 409200-0204G, or 409200-0204GB. Direct replacement for original block, includes retainer pin.
