Description
For 2015 and newer Mustang models with 3.31:1 and numerically higher gear ratios. Code-named “Peregrine”, this is an enhanced, high-torque capacity design that uses a billet housing and 6 planet gear sets, which improves upon the OEM-offered Torsen models. Peregrine offers improved strength and even greater gearing life (great for dedicated open-track cars), while still providing optimized bias performance that T-2R models are known for. This only fits IRS applications, and is not compatible with solid/rigid versions of the Super 8.8″ axle (such as F-150).
